The writer / director, of the film, Linda Palmer, and executive producer, Mark Cardone will also be on hand for the event. "The film is a fun comedy with a heart, but the most amazing thing about it, is its 29 original songs, most of which originated with Nashville artists." states Palmer. "Our big push, after this event, is to get the film in front of audiences that can nominate the music for Academy Awards. They’re that good!" Mark Cardone adds, "There are seven original songs in the film which is pretty much unheard of. Two of our songwriter / performers each, have six plus songs in the movie!" Nashville’s CJ Watson penned eight songs in the film and six on the soundtrack.

Donna Britton co-wrote the movies theme song with Watson and Norris. She is an accomplished songwriter/performer, the films music supervisor, album producer, with her own Nashville based publishing company, Shadow Mountain Publishing (www.whatsuponthemountain.com). She licensed 22 of the 29 songs for the film and worked closely with director, Linda Palmer, on developing the original material with her stable of songwriter/performers. Britton and Palmer worked together to create the "Pop/Dance/Classic Rock/Retro Rock" soundtrack that reminds us of ZZ Top, George Thorogood, Lady Gaga, Warren Zevon and many more!
