Prior to the movie screening, from 6pm – 7pm on June 14th, a "Soundtrack Signing Reception" for the musicians, filmmakers, and local business sponsors of the charity event. The films soundtrack was showcased, and artists were available to share stories of their involvement. Hosting the reception, was local retailer, "Retropolitan" at 1813 21st Avenue South in Hillsboro Village, just a block from the theater. "Briar Patch Catering" provided a coffee and dessert bar.
Artists on hand were songwriters, CJ Watson, Donna Britton, Bruce Michael Miller, David Norris, Mark Conklin, Nichole Cooper and performer Britt Savage. The writer / director, of the film, Linda Palmer, and executive producer, Mark Cardone also attended the event.
