Eddie Heinzelman, Jeannie Seely, Jimmy Fortune, Billy Yates

Take a step back in time during this round, composed of an Opry member, a Statler Brother, an impressive musician and a hit writer/artist. Eddie Heinzelman’s song “Crawl” was featured in the soundtrack for the movie Dead In 5 Heartbeats, he’s a guitar and mandolin player and a background vocalist for country artist Radney Foster. Opry member Jeannie Seely, known as “Miss Country Soul,” will join him to perform some of her hits (she’s had over two dozen of them!). Also included in this lineup is Billy Yates who penned George Jones’ “I Don’t Need Your Rocking Chair” and “Choices.” You can’t go wrong with Jimmy Fortune, a member of the Statler Brothers, who penned hits like “Elizabeth” and “Too Much On My Heart” for the band!
