J.D. Grace moved to Nashville in August 2011 to work as a registered dental hygienist but kept the passion for her music alive by performing as a guest singer with various bands on Broadway in Nashville. Her life in Music City was filled with many trials and tribulations that were unrelated to music which contributed to the depth and range of her songwriting and musical style.
“I feel that the hardships that I have experienced have made me a stronger person. My faith in God has kept me going when all I ever wanted to do was give up. I am a stronger person because of the battles I have experienced and I am blessed. My passion for music keeps me alive – it keeps me moving forward. Without it, I would be lost.”
J.D. Grace is a woman of perseverance and strength. Everyone she knows will tell you that she truly believes everything happens for a reason. It’s her signature mantra. What she knows of trouble, trials, fun and friendship is reflected in everything she writes, collaborates on, and sings.
