Performances To Benefit and Honor Longtime Music Industry Veteran Debbie Ballentine

Lorrie Morgan, award-winning, platinum-selling country music star, has gathered her friends including Vince Gill, Tracy Lawrence, Darryl Worley, Exile, TG Sheppard, Daryle Singletary, Baillie & The Boys, Sonia Leigh, George Ducas, Ashlee Hewitt, Kelly Lang, Steffen Hughes, and her son Jesse Keith Whitley to performed Tuesday, March 17, 2015 (6:00 pm), at the Wildhorse Saloon to benefit and honor long-time music industry veteran Ms. Debbie Ballentine, who lost her fight against cancer on Sunday, February 1, 2015.

The charity event entitled, 'I AM A WOMAN,' will support the Ballentine family to cover medical bills incurred during her illness. Tickets are $30 per person; available NOW on www.wildhorsesaloon.com. Tickets may also be purchased day-of-show at Wildhorse Saloon Box Office. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

“This event is special for me, this lady was so special to me. She was my lifeline for so many years, she knew me like no other,” said Lorrie Morgan. “There is nothing that is fair or good about this horrible disease. It’s so difficult to even think about what she went through…while we all continued on with own lives. Debbie will always remain in my heart.”

With the loving support and strength from family and friends, Ballentine bravely fought her battle with cancer since Fall 2011. After the long fight and many doctor visits/hospital stays, the family’s medical bills are insurmountable.

A special after-party took place immediately following the show ($5 per person) at Silver Dollar Saloon (110 2nd Avenue North, Nashville, TN).

All proceeds from ticket and auction item sales will be dedicated to support Debbie’s family to assist in alleviating their financial burden. Individuals unable to attend can offer support by visiting her GoFundMe link: www.gofundme.com/iwfwic.
