Members of the Country Music Hall of Fame reunited at the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016. They were joined by some of American music’s most accomplished artists in the annual Medallion Ceremony to induct the 2016 class of the Country Music Hall of Fame.
At the invitation of the Country Music Association (CMA), the private Medallion Ceremony became the official rite of induction for new members of the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2007. The evening includes musical tributes. The new members were inducted and welcomed as peers by members of the Hall of Fame, who will also present keepsake medals.
