Andy was born and raised in Dagsboro, DE and has spent his professional life in real-estate investment, development, and management. As he says, "It's really the perfect line of work for a songwriter; giving me perfect flexibility to visit Nashville and freedom to create my own work schedule."

Andy has been playing with his band, Dakkota, since they were founded in 1994, and with them have performed with nearly every major country act out there, including opening for Alabama and Merle haggard to playing with Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney and Jason Aldean.

Music has always been Andy’s first passion, and he constantly reads any book he can find on songwriting. He also began enrolling in online courses thru Berklee School of Music online. In March of 2009 Andy was the first online student ever selected by Berklee to attend the 24th annual "Nashville Spring Break Trip" with the Boston campus students, giving him access to places and people he couldn’t have attained on his own. Since then he has made regular trips to Nashville in an effort to network, co-write, and record demos of songs. Says Andy, "Songwriting is an unbelievably difficult challenge; one that far surpasses the trying days of learning organic and physical chemistry while attending Elon College in NC. My wife supports me in every way possible and my two little kids think I'm a Rock Star;) My kids, family, friends, and relationship with God
