Nashville producer Kim Copeland was honored to produce vocals and mix the first SongsInc “Track to Song” contest winner. The song, “Open”, was written by New Jersey natives, Julianne Buccino and co-writer Chris DeMaria using a Songsinc PROTrack from Radar Music writers, Christopher Rowe and Kenny Lamb. The contest, which ran in conjunction with Broadjam (www.broadjam.com), offered contestants a selection of Songsinc’s tracks to which songwriters added their original melody and lyric to create a new song.

Winning writers, Julianne and Chris were flown to Nashville to attend the recording session of their winning song with producer Kim Copeland; a consultation with PROTrack owners Kenny Lamb and Christopher Rowe; and a meeting with NSAI Staff where they were presented with a one-year membership. The winning song will also be sent to Songsinc’s network of music supervisors, song pluggers, producers and publishers for consideration.
