Slugfest Records Nashville (Warner/ADA) recording artist Elizabeth Eckert is an accomplished singer / pianist / songwriter. Her music encompasses classical, jazz and pop stylings as well as many things in between. Elizabeth’s classical training earned her a degree from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music and culminated in a performance at the prestigious Carnegie Hall. When a tragic wrist injury ended her classical career, Elizabeth discovered the art of songwriting. She packed up, moved to Nashville and never looked back. In addition to extensive recording and performing, she is an Adjunct Artist Teacher of Piano at Vanderbilt University. Elizabeth’s debut album Bloomington is an exciting combination of virtuosity and pop that will remind listeners of Norah Jones, Sara Bareilles, and Regina Spektor.
