: Nashville transplant Pete Kennedy is an award winning singer-songwriter from Ireland. Since his debut in 2010, Pete has won international music awards, toured extensively across the US and Europe and built an established, dedicated fan base. Pete's musical influences stem from his Celtic roots of upbringing to the Americana, folk and country songs of the southern U.S. From early idols like The Eagles, Kris Kristofferson and Emmylou Harris to contemporary artists such as Garth Brooks and Rascal Flatts, Pete's influences are evident in his distinctive crossover style. His debut single, “This Time,” landed him a spot on the International Artist Showcase at the 2010 CMA Music Festival. In 2012, Pete won Album of the Year at the BCMA Awards for The Nashville Session Vol.1. Pete has since been featured on numerous international television shows including Inside Music Row TV as well as the prestigious ‘Hollywood Meets Nashville Grammy Viewing Party and Benefit Gala.’ Pete is currently back in the studio recording new tracks, with a new single scheduled for late 2014 and a worldwide tour in the works for 2015.
