Inside one of its main lobbies will be the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, and just outside the gigantic facility at the corner of 5th Avenue and Demonbreun, will be Songwriters Square, a wide pavilion and walkway leading to the Hall of Fame. These locations, along with an Education Center on Music Row planned later with Belmont University, will celebrate and recognize the 188 members of our Hall of Fame, including this year’s inductees who were enshrined on October 7.
While the Music City Center is a public facility, the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame is being financed with
private funds from many sources, led by
the Songwriters Foundation board of directors. You too can be part of this historic moment when the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame changes from a virtual to a physical Hall of Fame, a “place” where people can come to see and hear the men and women who literally have put the music in Music City.
Your fully tax-deductible contribution is needed to make the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame a reality. Please take a look at the
complete details of the project and send your gift of $50, $100, $500 or more. Your name will be listed as a Founding Donor on the new website that will be launched in 2013 shortly after the Hall of Fame opens. You will be part of Nashville songwriting history, and your name will join all the greats: Hank Williams, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash and many more.
