Former American Idol contestant Lauren Alaina officially kicked off CRS 2012 with a performance of the national anthem at the seminar’s opening ceremonies on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 9 a.m. She was accompanied by the U.S. Marine color guard for the flag presentation.
