This is the fifth consecutive year that LeAnn has hosted the Country Showdown National Final, and it's no wonder. Her talent and accomplishments qualify her as a Country Music icon and her stage presence is a perfect fit for the Showdown: Enthusiastic, approachable and engaging - she's a great compliment to the final round of the Showdown competition.

LeAnn can appreciate "the big break" that the Showdown finalists are competing for. Her's came when she was 13 years old after Curb record excecutives heard her song, "Blue" which went on to become a #1 hit in 1996. Since then she has won numerous awards including two Grammys, three ACMs and one CMA. In addition, she has sold over 50 million albums world wide and placed over 40 singles on American and international radio charts.

Since 2007, LeAnn has been the host for the Country Showdown National Final. She joins a distinguished list of Country Music legends who have hosted the Showdown for the past 29 years: Kenny Rogers, Minnie Pearl, Loretta Lynn, Dennis Weaver, Billy Ray Cyrus, Sara Evans, Barbara Mandrell, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson - the list goes on and on. One of the highlights of the National Final is to hear a live performance from the celebrity host. While all of the performances have been exceptional, LeAnn is a standout.
