Jerrod Niemann 'freed the music' for the first time in Nashville Wednesday night at his sold out show at 3rd & Lindsley Bar and Grill to celebrate his newly-released sophomore album, Free The Music, in stores now. Sea Gayle/Arista Nashville labelmate Brent Anderson and Columbia Records' Tyler Farr kicked off the show before the critically-acclaimed singer/songwriter revealed yet another layer behind the musical masterpiece as he performed the record in its entirety in track order. When Niemann reached track ten on the record, "I'm All About You," pop princess Colbie Caillat surprised fans and joined Niemann on stage to perform their song together.

Other highlights for the evening included another surprise performance from longtime friend, Lee Brice, who took over the stage for an acoustic interlude and delivered a medley of hits. Niemann joined him for the single, “Hard to Love,” which Niemann touted as his favorite tune currently on the radio. Notable songwriter, Jon Stone, also joined Brice on the song he helped co-pen, “A Woman Like You.”

Soon, Niemann invited Caillat and her guitar player, Justin Young, back to the stage where she performed her hits “I Never Told You” and “Droplets.”

The evening ended with a full band performance of Niemann’s platinum-selling No. 1 hit, “Lover, Lover” in front of a still-packed and raucous house.

The performance was the first show kicking off Niemann’s Jägermeister Tour to which he quipped, “Dreams really do come true!”

Free The Music is in stores now and available everywhere music is sold. Niemann co-produced the album, infusing it with brasswind horns, CLASP technology, and an acoustic b-bender guitar to create a psychedelic sound unique to the country format. Current Top 25 Billboard single "Shinin' On Me" is the first release from the record, following fan-favorite previously released radio hits "Lover, Lover," "What Do You Want," and "One More Drinkin' Song," from his debut album, Judge Jerrod & The Hung Jury.
