The T.J. Martell Foundation’s 2nd Annual Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin-Robbins “Family Day,” presented by Parallel Entertainment, took place October 29th at the Curb Event Center at Belmont University in Nashville. The event featured a performance by Mercury Nashville/19 Recordings/Interscope recording artist and American Idol Runner-Up Lauren Alaina, an indoor carnival with inflatable games, bungees and trick or treat booths and a special presentation of The T.J. Martell Foundation’s newly formed Family Awards.
The T.J. Martell Foundation is presenting the Family Awards on the premise that outstanding accomplishments by individuals are achieved with the support and dedication of their families.
Country music superstar Trace Adkins and his family were awarded the T.J. Martell Family Achievement Award for Adkins’ success in the entertainment industry and the strength of their family through the challenges of public and private life.
Nashville Predators Coach Barry Trotz and his family received the T.J. Martell Family Spirit Award, recognizing their family for reflecting the spirit of Nashville.
