This session will focus on national, regional and local brand perspectives, pulling back the curtain so radio sales teams can learn how to more effectively compete for ad dollars. And beyond traditional spots and dots spending, are there opportunities to draw revenue from other "buckets" like retail merchandising, events and business to business initiatives? Key product categories will be represented including Quick Serve Restaurants/Dining, Airlines, Automotive, Packaged Goods and Retail.

PPM: Let's Take a Look Under the Hood
NCC, Level 2, Room 206

The session is designed as a follow-up to the day's earlier session; Pardon the Interruption. It starts with a brief primer on the essentials for rating's success and then evolves to graphs which can be described as the anatomy of a successful Country station's Quarter Hour. This session is all about Country's best practices and understanding how listeners use Country radio. While this session is based on PPM, it is believed PPM has helped radio stations become more listenable. With the possible exception of a PPM based Stop Set Strategy, everything discussed in this PPM session is directly, most likely, applicable to Diary markets
