The Andy Griggs Celebrity Poker Tournament
Who: Country artist Andy Griggs and online Country lifestyle/social network, DigitalRodeo.com.
Participants this year included: Casey Atwood (NASCAR driver), Stanton Barrett (NASCAR driver and Hollywood stuntman), Jeff Bates, Bo Bice, Bonnie Bishop, Due West, Kevin Dyson (former Tennessee Titan), Chelsea Field, Andy Griggs, Mickie James (musician and professional wrestler), Buddy Jewell, Gary Morris, The Roys, Tuff Hedeman, Matt Gary, Lucas Hoge and more.
What: The second annual Andy Griggs Celebrity Poker Tournament during CMA Music Fest week. This year’s event will include poker, blackjack, craps and more. All game winnings will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and other charities, including Middle Tennessee flood victims. An “in-the-round” acoustic performance will follow immediately after the tournament at 5 p.m. A silent auction and door prize was also held.
When: Thursday, June 10, 2010. Poker tournament started at 2 p.m., acoustic performance at 5 p.m.
