Music Row Ladies Golf Tournament raises over $65,000 for UCP!
The 29th annual Music Row Ladies Golf Tournament (MRLGT) was held on Monday, August 17th at Old Natchez Country Club in Franklin, Tenn. Music Row's longest-running women's charity event, this year's tournament raised approximately $65K to benefit United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee and was sponsored by ASCAP, City National Bank, Tim McGraw and Chris Young, along with 2105 MRLGT Director's Award honoree and annual "Tent City" sponsor McGhee Entertainment. A special award was also presented to Tim McGraw, accepted by his manager Scott Siman, in recognition of McGraw's many years of support of the event.

The Music Row Ladies Golf Tournament has sold-out every year since its inception in 1987, and to date, the tournament has raised nearly $1.9M for United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee. Tournament Founder/Director Herky Williams commented, "Even after 29 years, we still continue to pick up momentum. This will be our biggest year since we switched to having only one tee time, and next year's 30th anniversary will be our best tournament yet. Once again our planning committee stepped up and did an outstanding job."
The MRLGT's 2015 Contributing Sponsors also included Big Machine Label Group, Country Music Association, Maverick, Tim Perryman, Reba, Allen Reynolds, Joe Don and Tiffany Rooney, Blake Shelton, Slo & Low BBQ, SunTrust Bank and UMG Nashville.

The Music Row Ladies Golf Tournament and Tupperware Party is the wackiest fundraiser in Nashville. Over 300 of Music Row’s Power Women congregate at Old Natchez Country Club for a fun-filled day of loosely-defined golf. While the event is good-humored, the funds raised by these dedicated women are very serious.
The 29th annual Music Row Ladies Golf Tournament has added Chris Young as the title sponsor of this year’s event on August 17.
The tournament will once again benefit United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee and be held at Old Natchez Country Club in Franklin, Tenn. Tim McGraw, ASCAP, City National Bank are also sponsors of the event.
“I’ve been part of the tournament for the last several years, caddying when I’m not on the road or sponsoring when I couldn’t be there in person,” Young commented. “I’m glad to support this fun event which helps benefit United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee.”
